Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are the agreement between you and Framy for https://framy.video, including the editor, uploads, previews, exports, and purchases of export credits. By using the service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Framy.

1. The service

Framy is a web application that lets you place screen recordings and images inside device frames and export mockup videos (MP4) and images (PNG). The device catalog, layouts, quality options, and limits can change. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may suspend the service for maintenance or security.

The service is operated from Poland. Device pictures are mockups. Apple and other brand names belong to their owners. Framy is not affiliated with Apple.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 16 years old to use the service, and 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher) to buy export credits. You must be able to enter a binding contract and must not be barred from using the service under applicable law, including sanctions rules.

3. Free exports and paid credits

Low-quality exports are free. They can be limited in length, visual detail, and how many you can run in a period of time. High-quality exports use credits from a one-time bundle that you buy in the editor. There is no subscription and we do not bill you on a recurring schedule.

The price, currency, and number of credits are shown before you pay. A credit is used when a high-quality export completes. Credits stay on the browser session that bought them. They are not cash, have no cash value, and cannot be transferred, resold, or redeemed except through a refund under our Refund Policy.

Digital delivery starts as soon as payment is confirmed and the credits appear on your session. Export files are made available for download through the product. We do not guarantee a specific render time. Download links can expire.

4. Payments

Checkout uses Stripe Managed Payments. Stripe (including Link) is the merchant of record: Stripe collects payment and remits applicable sales tax / VAT. The price shown at checkout is tax-inclusive. The charge on your statement may show Stripe, Link, or a related descriptor. We do not store your full card number. You agree to pay the price shown at checkout and to provide an email address we can use to match the payment to your session and to handle receipts, credits, and refunds.

If a payment is refunded, reversed, or charged back, we remove the export credits granted for that purchase from your session (your remaining balance will not go below zero). Other purchases on the same session are not affected. We may also suspend the session while a bank dispute is open. Contact us before opening a dispute with your bank. The Refund Policy explains when a purchase can be refunded.

5. Sessions

The service uses a browser session cookie instead of a password account. You are responsible for the browser and devices where that session lives. We are not responsible for lost access if you clear site data, use a private window, or switch devices. Files and credits are available to the session that created or bought them, subject to our security checks.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of the videos, images, text, and other material you upload ("User Content") and of the exports we render from it. You confirm that you have the rights you need to upload and process that material, including rights in recordings, music, trademarks, and fonts that appear in it.

You give us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, transcode, transform, and store User Content only to run the service: preview, export, deliver the file, and keep short-lived backups. The license ends when the content is deleted from our systems, except for copies we must keep for law, security, or a backup cycle that then expires.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload unlawful, infringing, hateful, deceptive, or malicious content
• Upload content that sexually exploits minors
• Try to open another session's projects, files, credits, or exports
• Probe, scan, or bypass rate limits, payments, or other security controls
• Overload uploads, exports, or the API with bots or scripts
• Reverse engineer the service except where the law does not allow this limit
• Resell access to the service or present it as your own product
• Use exported mockups in a way that violates a platform's brand rules

We may remove content, refuse an export, or suspend a session if we reasonably believe these Terms or the law were broken.

8. Our intellectual property

The Framy name, logo, website, software, templates, and device-frame assets belong to us or our licensors. These Terms give you a personal, limited, revocable right to use them inside the service. They do not give you the right to copy our frames, code, or brand for your own tool. Your exports may include a device frame as part of the mockup you downloaded for your own use.

9. Third-party services

Checkout, hosting, and optional analytics are provided by third parties under their own terms. We are not responsible for those services. Links on the website to other sites are outside these Terms.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AN EXPORT WILL MEET A STORE OR AD PLATFORM'S TECHNICAL RULES. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS RIGHTS THAT CONSUMER LAW DOES NOT ALLOW US TO LIMIT, INCLUDING RIGHTS FOR A FAULTY DIGITAL SERVICE.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FRAMY AND ITS OPERATORS AND SUPPLIERS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS, ARISING FROM THE SERVICE OR A PURCHASE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR A CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) USD $100 OR (B) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR EXPORT CREDITS IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. THIS CAP DOES NOT APPLY TO LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER THE LAW OF POLAND, INCLUDING LIABILITY FOR FRAUD OR FOR DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY CAUSED BY NEGLIGENCE.

12. Indemnity

If a claim is brought against us because of your User Content, your use of the service, or your breach of these Terms, you will cover the resulting damages, losses, and reasonable legal fees. This section does not apply to the extent the law of your country does not allow a consumer to give this indemnity.

13. Suspension and ending access

You can stop using the service at any time. We can suspend or end access if you breach these Terms, if a payment is reversed, if the law requires it, or to protect the service and other people. Sections that should survive — including content license wind-down, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, and governing law — stay in effect.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Poland have exclusive venue, except that if you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom you keep the mandatory right to bring a claim in the courts of your country of residence and to rely on mandatory protections there. Please contact us through the contact form and try to resolve the issue first.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms. The date at the top is the latest version. If a change is material, we will post the updated Terms on this page before they apply. If you keep using the service after that date, the new Terms apply. Changes to prices apply only to purchases made after the change. Purchases already made stay under the Refund Policy in force at checkout.
